I officiated a U14B game on Saturday. During the game I yellow carded a player. He had fouled an opponent very hard. I orginally wanted to just talk to him to instruct him about his hard foul. I asked him why he would want to foul him so hard. He said "It was in retaliation for a foul that occured earlier. At that point I issued a yellow card (could have been a red card). I went to the coach to tell him what happened. Don't know where he learned that but it sure is disturbing.
